✨Keep Shining—The World Needs YOUR LIGHT✨.
I was gifted this beautiful candle by my friend Mindy Van Vleet from Polkadot Powerhouse, a connection group that I am a part of, after I spoke on stage at Celebration, the annual meeting, in Minneapolis this past October!!
“KEEP SHINING, THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR LIGHT”. CLEVER COW CANDLE CO.
It meant so much to me because it reflected exactly what I did on that stage:
I chose to share my light. My sparkle ! My story !!! And that took courage!!
Today I lit this candle for the first time, and it reminded me again of how deeply the world needs each of you to shine and share your light and sparkle.
For much of my life, I’ve been told “You are too much.”
“You are too loud. Too energetic. Too intense.”
And the message underneath was clear:
Dim yourself so that others feel more comfortable.
Have you ever been told these things before? Or have you ever felt this way?
I have in the past, but recently I have had some major shifts and I have realized something really powerful:
People who aren’t connected to their own light often struggle to look at someone who IS connected to their light.
And that often feels uncomfortable because they don't understand it.
And what people don't understand, they often fear.
And what they fear, they want to go away and shut down!!
Because it's very uncomfortable!!
But what I now know deeply is that I am not here to make other people comfortable. That is not my job.
My job is to step more fully into my power, my brilliance and my light.
And what I've learned is that when you do that, something fundamentally shifts inside of you — you now WANT others to shine more!!! In fact you start to crave it, because now that you finally see your own light more clearly, you see theirs too!!
Speaking in October fundamentally shifted me forever.
Standing on that stage,
I not only changed how I saw myself and my light, but I felt it deeply to my core! .
And it opened my eyes to the light and brilliance of everyone else in that room with me!!

So today, friend, hear me loud and clear:
If you’ve been told that you’re “too much”…
YOU”RE ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!
If you’ve ever felt pressure to shrink yourself…
DON’T!!!
If you’ve dimmed your sparkle so others could stay comfortable…
STOP DOING THIS!
Please REPEAT the following!!!!
You were NEVER “too much.” You were meant to SHINE AND TO BE SEEN!!.
Your LIGHT is needed. Your SPARKLE is needed.
STEP MORE into who you are — fully, boldly, unapologetically.
STOP PLAYING SMALL!
THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR LIGHT!
THE WORLD NEEDS MORE OF YOU!.
